Elizabeth May Snushall

Elizabeth May Snushall, known as Edna, was born in 1885 in Adelong NSW to parents George and Catherine Snushall.

In 1904 she had a child who she named Lindsay G. Snushall. The birth certificate did not name the father. The child was born in Bathurst NSW, which is where the Snushall family were living in 1899 when Elizabeth's youngest sister, Ada Alma, was born.

In 1910, when Elizabeth was 25, she married Frederick COLLINS in Marrickville NSW. There were no children from this union. Elizabeth was a widow when, at the age of 61, she died on 13 March 1947 at Katoomba NSW. The cause of death was heart failure after some months suffering myocarditis, inflammation or degeneration of the heart muscle.

The Death Certificate states that shortly before her death, Elizabeth had been living with her younger sister, Maude, at 34 Hicks Avenue Mascot NSW. Her body was cremated at the Eastern Suburbs Crematorium on 15th March 1947.
