William Harold Snushall

William Harold SNUSHALL, aka SNASHALL, was born in 1891 in Broken Hill NSW to parents George and Catherine Snushall. He was known to be a Miner at Cobar until the mines closed. He then joined the NSW Water Board where he worked until he retired.

In 1919 when William Harold was 28, he married Emily Evelyn GILL in Cobar, NSW. Emily was born in 1903 in Cobar NSW, to parents John and Elizabeth GILL.

A grandson of William and Emily spoke well of his grandparents, who he shared a close relationship with and who he lived with on occasions. He describes his grandfather as a very intelligent man. William died in Annandale NSW in 1971 at the age of 80 years. Emily died 21st September 1979 at age 76 and was buried at Rookwood Cemetery in NSW.

It is noted that the family of William Harold Snashall all spell their surname as Snashall. Another relative reports that for a time William stopped using his surname and preferred to use his mother's maiden name of Cassidy.
 



William and Emily had the following children:
